LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design)

Company Owner is LEED Certified:

LEED CertifiedRuss Kimball, the owner of evergreen State Heat & AC, is a LEED Green Associate (ID# 10499427) and is scheduled to get his LEED AP (Accredited Professional) for Existing Building Operations + Maintenance (EBOM) sometime in 2010.

Once Russ gets his LEED AP EBOM he will be able to certify all existing commercial buildings as LEED regardless as to whether they were initially constructed under LEED New Construction certification.

Evergreen State Building to be LEED Certified:

Russ is working with Jared Siliker, a LEED AP – EBOM, to certify the Evergreen State Heat & AC Shop and Office Member of the United States Green Builiding Council as LEED Silver or Gold (Project #1000002626) sometime in 2010.  It is our belief that in order to certify other commercial buildings we need to start by certifying our own.

Member of USGBC:

USGBC is the United States Green Building Council, of which Evergreen State Heat and AC is a proud member to be of.  USGBC is responsible for administration of the LEED AP certification process as well as LEED building certification.
