Federal (Obama Plan):

  1. Basic HVAC Systems:
  • $1,500.00 tax credit (100% to customer) @ 30% of project ($5K or higher)
  • HP – 15 SEER & 8.5 HSPF; not sure if ductless mini-splits apply???
  • AC – 16 SEER
  • GF – 95% AFUE
  • 1/1/09 through 12/31/10 (CY 2009 & 2010)
  • Principal residence only
  • Competes with insulation, windows & doors
  • Customer to contact own tax person, ESSM not responsible for credit
  1. Geothermal & Solar Systems:
    • 30% of project, no cap on price

Trane Incentives:

  • 16 months 0% interest SAC financing
  • Up to $1,500 rebates from Trane on equipment

BPA Ductless HP Project (marketed through utilities such as PSE & PUD):

  • 2009 only so far:  1,500 homes by 9/09, 1,000 more by 12/09 (2,500 total)
  • Program test year, likely will have in 2010, but no guarantees
  • Homes must have either electric cadets or EL FA
  • $1,500 in home consumer rebate

Snohomish County PUD:

  • Heat Pumps – $450
  • Thermostats (ESSM installed) – $50
  • Duct Sealing – $400
  • All above – $900
  • 10 year loan at 2.9% (if have credit)

PSE (all subject to maximum of 75% of cost):

  • EL FA & HWT to Gas FA & HWT – $1,950 to $3,950 based on home evaluation
  • EL FA to Gas FA Only – $500 to $2,500 based on home evaluation
  • EL HWT to Gas HWT Only – $950
  • Gas upgrade to 95% – $350
  • Replace Gas HWT – $50
  • Upgrade to Gas tank-less HWT – $150

Cascade Natural Gas (Arlington North):

  • Gas upgrade to 90% – $150
  • Duct Sealing – $150 (PTCS standards)
  • Replace Gas HWT – $25
  • Upgrade to Gas tank-less HWT – $200
  • Good through end of 2009
